At Precision Drainage and Excavating, we design our main tile systems looking at the number of acres to be drained and the watershed to meet the 1/2 inch drainage coefficient. Below are some pictures of main tile being installed.
We use the most up-to-date technology. Our pipe laser ensures proper grade of the tile. The spoon on our excavator bucket gives the pipe adequate support. We also use 1-inch clean rock to ensure the integrity of the tile. We install large diameter pipe whether it be plastic or reinforced concrete tile.
BACKFILLING DITCHES
Once the tile is installed our last duty is to backfill all the ditches. We use a HyPro disk with our 6145M John Deere Tractor. This is a vital final step. All the soil must go back to the same location.This ensures that there will be no low spots in any of the trenches.
